Each weekend I do 'pay what you want' group guided tours around London, but during the week I do 'private' walks for families, couples, work groups and individuals which are tailored to their own specific needs. Here are some of the weekday walks I did in April. Starting with the photos above; top left is Nora and her rather brilliant family from Puerto Rico. I did two walks with them over two days and took the above photo on top of New Change shopping centre with St Paul's cathedral in the background. Simon from Coventry had been on one of my Sunday walks a while back and came back with his family. I met them at Covent Garden and we did around Fleet Street and the City of London. The photo on the right is of Holly, her mother and two sons. I met them at their apartment in Leicester Square and did a walk around the sights in Westminster.
I did a couple of walks with Amy, David and their two young children. They were staying Knightsbridge, so for the first walk we started there and headed in to Westminster. For their second walk we did around east London, an altogether quite different area. Next up we have a rather excellent group of academics from San Fransisco (at least that's what they said). They were staying at a hotel just off Jermyn Street in St James's, so I met them there and showed them around the area. I met Shaina, Daisha, Montressa in King's Cross straight off the Euro Star from Paris. They were from the States and had never been to Europe before. Audrey, who is from the States is working in London and contacted me as her parents and sister were visiting and wanted them to see a few of the sights. I took their photo standing in Victoria Embankment Gardens.
Top left is Kay and her parents visiting her from the States in Whitehall Gardens, the next up Amy and her mother. We spent the whole day together doing a bit of a London extravaganza walk. Bottom left is Dave & Dori. I met them at their hotel in Charing Cross, and made our way towards the City of London. I took their photo on Fleet Street. Lastly a work trip for an international company that had met up in Reading but were spending a few days in London. I took their photo, having a break in Westminster.
If you'd like to get in touch about sorting out a private walk for you, your family, colleagues ... or whoever it may be, then I''d be delighted to ear from you.
